V Ramesh

Abhivyakti Mentor, Eminent Artist

He likes playing on the canvas and follows one sacred rule: there is absolutely no rule. Just do what you want to do, he says, with that smile. Splash and play. That’s what makes him our mentor.
Master of bold strokes, yet Ramesh believes the big picture lies in the smaller details. And that’s where he connects to fine art -- and children. Let them be, he says. Let them express. That shapes them.
Awards and distinctions have come his way since a young age, but he believes those are the lighter shades on the larger canvas – the brighter ones lie ahead. In his own work as well as in the work of those he guides.
At Abhivyakti, he is our charm, our Laughing Buddha.

Benita Sen

Abhivyakti Mentor, Wordsmith & Journalist

Words are her strength, children her weakness. And Benita loves building bridges between the two. She believes life is a relay race, not a sprint. Cut the hurry, she says, that’s the key. Her rich experience and her uncluttered approach, they make her our mentor.
An accomplished journalist, author and storyteller, Benita is most comfortable in the company of words – fiction or non-fiction. And schoolbooks. That connection to the time when we were children, she says, is important to revive and relay.
Awards and citations for her writing apart, she comes into her own conducting workshops on environment, creative writing and values, among others. Of course, story sessions with children take it to a different level.
At Abhivyakti, Benita is our guide, our Queen Bee.
